Generations 11 and 12 Marie Katherina Godt (5 October 1847--2 March 1908) born in Hoerste. On 21 June 1873 she married Karl Friedrich Kraak (31 October 1850 - 22 October 1916) who was born in Olendorf-Halle. One of their children, Henry Kraak (12 January 1877--16 June 1955), emigrated to New Orleans, Louisiana and in 1906 married Berthe Heck (31 July 1886--14 May 1955), and had 8 children (Karl Henry Kraak, Lillian Berta Kraak, William Herman Kraak, Katherine Eleanor Kraak, Eleanor Katherine Kraak, Augusta Victoria Kraak, Louise Mini Kraak, and Dorothy Kraak). Friedrich Willhelm Kraak (21 June 1874 - 3 May 1969) born in Halle. He married Freiderike Henriette Vogt (31 May 1878 - 7 February 1957). There were no children from this marriage. Heinrich (Henry) Kraak (12 January 1877 - 16 June 1955) born in Olendorf-Halle and died in New Orleans La. On 13 May 1906 in New Orleans he married Bertha Heck (30 July 1886 - 14 May 1955) who was born in Schweiberdigen Germany. See page 58.1 Karl Herman Kraak (9 November 1882 - 4 June 1885). He was born and died in Olendorf-Halle. Joanne Minnie Kraak (15 December 1885 - 1981) born in Olendorf-Halle. She married Karl Roland (unknown) on 27 June 1927. There were no children from this marriage. Lina Marie Kraak (23 March 1889 - 13 June 1983) born and died in Olendorf-Halle. On 25 August 1911 she married Henrich August Gossling. There are four children from this marriage. |
