Joachim Peter Ewald Karpawitz-Godt (10 January 1932-- ) born in Flensburg who married Franzosin Simone Paulette Jacquillard (24 March 1934--) from Brethenay by Chaumont, France. They had two children. After Police School in Wuppertal he immigrated to the USA, settling in Youngstown Ohio. From 1956 - 1984 he was in the US Air Force. He was in combat in Vietnam in 1971/1972. From 1984 to 1996 he was a Government employee at the US Air Force base at Ramstein Germany. He became an American citizen in 1955. He worked at the US Air Force Base at Victorville California.

Anne Catherine Karpawitz-Godt (26 July 1958--16 February 1969).
Died in a car accident on the highway near Dierdorf/Westerwald.

Beatrice Christina Karpawitz-Godt (13 November 1962-- ).
She was born in Victorville California. She is a budget analyst with
NATO in Paris/Versailles.
